A Roaring Start to Spring with Four New Recruits Joining The Pride.

We’re extremely excited to welcome four new employees to our expanding team here at Big Cat HQ! Plus, we’ve created three new senior roles…

The new recruits are joining us at an exciting time for Big Cat after some impressive new business wins at the start of the New Year. Following a longstanding history of working in the hospitality sector, we were hired by one of the UK’s biggest restaurant and pub groups, Mitchells & Butlers, whose brands include O’Neill’s, Nicholson’s and All Bar One. We have also been appointed by Raphael Hospitality in association with a recognised Chef, to deliver an entirely new brand concept.

Omar Budeiri enters as Big Cat’s first Digital Director after ten years working both in house and at digital agencies, and most recently running his own boutique digital agency; OBC. Commenting on his appointment, Budeiri said: “I moved to Big Cat because I was offered a fantastic opportunity to grow the digital arm of a fast growing agency whilst working with some hyper-talented people and for some pretty awesome clients.”

Having had a very varied career progression, Jon Sharp joins us in the newly created role of Creative Director. Sharp started in-house, spent some time freelance as well as working for some of the region’s most exciting creative agencies, including Chapter as Creative Head & Art Director, Wyatt and Jasp. When talking about joining The Pride, Sharp said: “I was offered a fantastic opportunity with Big Cat to team up with some great colleagues doing some brilliant strategy work whilst driving the creative output forward, which made the move an easy decision. It’s also a business that isn’t afraid to take risks.”

Big Cat is also excited to welcome its first ever Finance Director (FD) to The Pride, Richard Paterson. Paterson joins The Pride after a career working as FD for various businesses across the Birmingham area and brings with him a vast amount of financial expertise for small and medium-sized businesses.

Last, but certainly not least, having worked in PR since graduating in 2015, Emily Parker joins Big Cat as a Communications Senior Account Executive after relocating from London to Birmingham.

Big Cat Managing Director Anthony Tattum said: “We are committed to hiring the very best talent for our business and thrilled to welcome all four recruits to the Big Cat Pride. At Big Cat, we have an ambitious vision to become one of the UK’s top five independent marketing communications agencies and as we continue to grow the business, we look forward to seeing the contribution that this fresh new talent will bring to the success and evolution of the agency.

“By creating the Creative and Digital Director roles, we can further cement our position as a fully integrated agency by bringing their senior strategic counsel in both digital and creative to the offering that we provide to our existing and future clients. I am excited to see the agency continue its success and reach new heights.”

As part of the expansion, we’ve also relocated BC HQ to a new creative space located further into the Jewellery Quarter, which has a stunning open concept with more desk space, break out areas and energetic space for us Big Cats who are constantly on the prowl.

We’ve had some roarsome wins and developments recently and can’t wait to see what the future will bring for Big Cat!
