Big Cat are excited to be one of the first companies in the UK to feature Google Virtual Tour on our website. This great new feature from Google is currently being piloted and offers a great feature for businesses, retailers and leisure venues to give businesses a sneaky peek into their workplace before they visit.

The Virtual Tour enables potential visitors to take a panoramic walk through your office, restaurant, shop, bar or workspace with a 360° tour which enables visitors to zoom in and navigate around the building, exploring room by room. The virtual tour then appears on a business’s Google Places page, and it can be embedded on the company’s website and social media pages.

Our MD explains: “The Google Virtual Tour is a brilliant tool for businesses who want to bring people through their door. It is undeniable that this tool will work really well for leisure companies such as bars, restaurants, hotels, spas, gyms, galleries, retailers etc, but I can see its value for most businesses. Estate agents, recruitment companies, and professional services can all use Google Virtual Tour get the edge on attracting new customers by showcasing their businesses before the potential clients have left their home.

“When people have the ability to do a 360° tour, they can get a sense of the business and what it has to offer, it’s a really great marketing platform and gives clients a feel of the company’s culture and services in advance of meeting with them.

“As part of its pilot programme Google have been inviting businesses to get involved, but businesses should note that to do this they will need to use an accredited supplier so that the photography and digital images meet Google’s screening process. I am happy to report that Big Cat are able to deliver this service for clients, and we have already seen significant interest from a number of consumer and professional businesses who want to be one of the first in the UK to use the tool to help bring new customers virtually through their door.”
