Big Cat Gets Festive With Umberslade Farm Park

Umberslade Farm Park in Warwickshire is a magical place to be at Christmas and Big Cat has had lots of fun working with the farm in the run up. It is a great day out for the whole family and with the help of a few fluffy friends we have been able to share with everyone all of the great things that happen at the park during the festive season.

The Umberslade Estate has been a family business since the late 1800s when it was acquired by George Fredrick Muntz, a Birmingham industrialist who bought and restored Umberslade Hall. The current generation of the Muntz family is taking the Estate forward, maintaining and building on its agricultural heritage of arable farming whilst also broadening its horizons to offer a range of business and leisure opportunities based around the infrastructure of the Estate. In 2009 Oliver Muntz took over the operation of the Farm Park and is continuing with the ongoing diversification and expansion.

This is where we come in! The philosophy that underpins Umberslade is most definitely that of family and this is what we really wanted to emphasise. To do this, we extended the brand identity to incorporate a family friendly aspect, which also sits comfortably alongside their existing branding, enabling the park to differentiate between its various offerings for families, businesses and weddings. We also came up with a marketing communications strategy to engage with existing Umberslade customers and target key influencers to spread positive word of mouth about the brand and experience.

To enhance this we manage Umberslade’s social media which includes Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Throughout December, a Daily Picture Animal Advent Calendar with a countdown to Christmas is posted, which has received a brilliant response and a noticeable increase in engagement. Through these channels, The Fair also provides events support for Umberslade’s seasonal activities including their Family Bonfire and Fireworks, Christmas Market and Santa’s Grotto.
