Birmingham and London based Big Cat is thrilled to announce their new commission with the HOLI ONE World Festival.

Big Cat will carry out work for the festival that includes; full event production and event management. The agency was chosen based on its proven track record for hosting unique and memorable events. They demonstrated a commitment to delivering quality service to the HOLI ONE World Festival that led to them winning the account.

The HOLI ONE festival is a traditional Hindu celebration for the welcoming of spring. Also known as the ‘festival of colours’, the festival has become popularly known for its use of coloured powder, which lead to the commercialisation of the event.

On the 3rd and 4th August, thousands of people will descend on London, all dressed in white, coming together to enjoy music, dance and visual stimulation. Every hour from 2pm sees the festival goers come to life and cover one another in brightly coloured powder.

Over the years, the HOLI ONE World Festival has taken place in various parts of the world including Germany, USA and Singapore. This is the first time the festival is being brought to the UK and it is expected to be as big as their overseas ventures.

The two day event will take place at Battersea Power Station, which Big Cat suggested as the perfect venue. This could also be the first of many HOLI ONE Festivals in the UK, as they are already considering to hold other events in other cities across the country.

The festival will host a line-up of some of the best DJ’s in the country and incorporate the traditional coloured powder into the event.

Stephan Dau, MD of HOLI ONE World, said “This is the first time we’ve bought HOLI ONE World Festival to the UK. We knew we needed a company with a solid reputation for successfully delivering big scale events, which we have found in Big Cat. We trust that their event expertise will be demonstrated throughout the process and ultimately result in an event experience that will be remembered”

Nick Morgan, Big Cat CEO, said “The whole Big Cat team are excited to be working with HOLI ONE Festival. We are certain that we will make this event a success and deliver a unique experience. This will account marks another milestone win for the Big Cat events team and we are 100% committed to providing a first class service.”
