Big Cat’s Hospitality Portfolio Triples in just 3 Months

It’s been a fantastic quarter for us at Big Cat, after successfully securing a series of new bar and restaurant wins, firmly rooting our position as leading hospitality communications consultants within in the City.

Being based in the heart of Birmingham certainly works in our favour, as more businesses bring their ventures to the City’s growing food and drink scene, giving us the perfect opportunity to add some brilliant clients to our portfolio.

So far we’ve been appointed by family owned restaurants, Pasta Di Piazza and Cucina Rustica, to deliver a program of PR and marketing activity to help increase engagement among audiences with their brands.

In addition, we’ve been selected to handle the PR launch of hospitality group, Living Ventures’ latest Alchemist cocktail bar venue, due to open on Colmore Row later this year. In the run up to this, there will be a lot of work behind the scenes to build excitement and momentum locally in print and online.

Our MD, Anthony Tattum said: “Birmingham’s hospitality sector is developing at an incredible rate, and we’re honoured to have been given the opportunity by a number of businesses to support the city with that growth.

“Hospitality marketing is where Big Cat began over 15 years ago and it has gone on to become the core strand of our business. Over the years we’ve been lucky enough to be involved in some great bar and restaurant launches including, Turtle Bay, Tapas Revolution and the infamous San Carlo so we’re very excited to be helping Living Ventures to build awareness and create impact prior to The Alchemist opening in Birmingham.”

In April 2016, Be At One hired Big Cat to act as their ongoing press office in preparation for the launch of their first Birmingham bar – the 31st site and 12th outside of the capital.

Annah McKendry, Be At One’s new opening sales and marketing manager explained, “We built up a great working relationship with Big Cat over the two month launch campaign. With their support, Be At One Birmingham has been one of the most successful openings to date.”

Anthony concluded, “It’s an exciting time for Big Cat as there become new opportunities for growth through the ability to work with those bigger brands that are making their move to Birmingham, but by also continuing to build relationships with smaller local favourites too.”

it’s hungry work but we can’t wait to unveil our progress on these exciting projects over the next few months.
