Working across our agency group, which includes Big Cat and spottydog communications we’re looking for a team member with experience working within a busy marketing agency environment who thrives working on trade and industry campaigns.

Our clients include the biggest name in taps and showers, sustainability, industry bodies, construction and technology – making amazing products that lead the market and make a difference to our world.

Work at Leopard Co spans strategic consultancy, through to tactical delivery of PR, marketing, social media, digital, events and stakeholder engagement. It means there is scope to shape a role around team members that join us, to play to their strengths and support them on their career journey.

Being proactive is at the heart of what we do, and we're looking for candidates who can take initiative, anticipate needs, and drive positive change. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a never-give-up attitude, and are driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply and become a valued member of our team.

To be successful, you’ll need to have experience working in a marketing, PR or communications agency.

The role

We work with a range of clients to support and lead on B2B and B2C communications, from leading hospitality giants to cutting-edge tech brands.

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day running of activity within your dedicated client portfolio to deliver marketing, PR and Social Media activity.

This responsibility will include the delivery of tactical communications activity personally or through effective management of your account team. You will be the main point of contact for clients to provide feedback and issue reports so all team members within Leopard and client-side are aware of the progress of activity.

Your role will require you to maintain high levels of client service and responsiveness, whilst balancing the commercial needs of managing team resource.

Day-to-day management of client activity includes setting internal objectives and priorities, supervising activity delivered by junior team members, overseeing reporting and ensuring client activity is financially managed and budgeted.

As a more senior client handler, you should be comfortable finding solutions and overcoming challenges from clients and reprioritising to respond to evolving client priorities and commercial requirements.

Outside of client service delivery, you will also be responsible for delivering activity to support Leopard’s operational and marketing activity, together with inputting into innovation to ensure that Leopard as a business and from a consultancy service perspective stays best of breed.

As a communications consultancy, the variety of work we deliver on behalf of our clients is huge, so you will have the opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic agency environment.

Our culture

Maintaining our vibrant workplace culture, as well as fostering an environment to support learning and development, means we come together as a team to operate from our Birmingham city centre workspace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the option of remote working outside of our core days.

With a pet-friendly office, you’ll need to like dogs or our office dogs (Lily and Lottie) will be upset, as will some of our lovely pet-sector clients!

We’re famous for our six team social events, where we get together to have fun and let our hair down. Previous social events have seen us cruising the Birmingham canals, whipping up creative bakes, trying our hand at darts, and turning our office into our very own wellbeing centre.

Check out our Instagram page (@bigcatagency and @spottydogcomms) for a behind-the-scenes look at what we get up to!

We’re committed to supporting learning opportunities and continuous professional development, supported by our membership with leading bodies IPA and CIPR.

We also offer a great package, with extras such as 3% match pension, 24 days holiday together with up to five additional days offered for family care. The salary will be equivalent to the level of experience you have and will range from £28,000-£42,000.
