Turtle Bay Launch is a Huge Success!

Wednesday 30th April, 2014

For the past few months, Big Cat has been working with Turtle Bay in the run up to the launch of its new restaurant opening in Birmingham’s city centre. After much anticipation, on 17th April, the Caribbean restaurant officially opened its doors to hundreds of eager diners, treating guests to a night of authentic Caribbean food, drink and entertainment.

Two of the country’s urban reggae stars, Troy Ellis and Laid Blak, took the spotlight by putting on a fantastic performance during the night, while guests were treated to complimentary cocktails including Rum Runner and Tobago Tea, and Caribbean dishes such as Jerk chicken and Blue Mountain Goat Curry. A great night was had by all!

Chris Halford, restaurant manager, said he has been overwhelmed with the number of diners that have visited since the launch. He said, “Given the number of people we’ve already seen pass through the door, it’s clear that the Birmingham restaurant scene has been crying out for a restaurant like Turtle Bay. What we are offering is a combination of great food, first class service and an unforgettable atmosphere, so I’m sure the success that we have experienced since the launch will continue.”

Big Cat is proud to have been a part of such a lively, entertaining evening and we look forward to getting involved in future events!
