2019 was an incredibly rewarding and busy year at Big Cat, with a lot of highs. We’ve won lots of new exciting clients and carried out some awesome creative campaigns, as well as welcoming new team members.
Not only was it a great year for Big Cat, it was also an eventful year for the pride too, and as 2019 came to an end, as a team we reflected on our highlights.

2020 marks the year that Big Cat turns 20, and a lot has changed since I started the business, but a big milestone for me in 2019 was moving to our new offices. Not only is it a bigger space that reflects our growth, but it’s also a super cool 150-year-old retired jewellery factory based in the Jewellery Quarter.

For me, 2019 has been a year which has brought with it a lot of change. But my highlight would have to be welcoming my beautiful baby boy, Zayn, to the world in April. One of my funniest moments of 2019 was realising that I’d recruited the clumsiest Marketing Exec in Birmingham and experiencing one of her many fantastic falls.

This year brought me back to the Midlands after an 11 year stint in London, and my highlight would have to be buying my first home and all the excitement that’s come with it. I’ve found a new hobby in interior design as well as learning cooking skills on a camping stove whilst having the kitchen renovated.

It sounds cliché, but landing my role at Big Cat was my highlight for 2019. I’ve worked in marketing for 10 years now and I love it, but Big Cat is definitely my favourite role so far. I get to work on such diverse accounts and brands as well as working with a fun team of creatives.

It’s been an amazing year for me with many highlights. I moved into my new home in March, started my new job at Big Cat in April and got married in July, which was followed by two amazing honeymoons in Dubai and Marbella. Let’s see if 2020 can top it.
