We're honoured to have been shortlisted for a PRCA DARE Award in the ‘Integrated Campaign of the Year’ category for our work with Aspire and their Aspire Channel Swim fundraiser.
The DARE Awards are renowned in the PR industry for discovering and rewarding the very best PR and communications professionals across the UK, making the nomination particularly exciting for us at such a pivotal point in our growth.
Big Cat has been working with national UK charity Aspire for three years to raise awareness of, and drive participation in, their biggest fundraising event, The Aspire Channel Swim, which launched 18 years ago. Each year, the aim of the national event is to swim 22 miles (the distance of the English Channel) over 12 weeks between September and December in order to raise money for people living with paralysis.
Across the three year partnership, Big Cat has evolved the brand creative. What started with us being tasked with finessing the existing creative saw us progress to developing an entirely new brand identity last year. The aim of the campaign was simple: to boost participants and broaden the appeal of the fundraiser to audiences, while ensuring brand consistency across all communications.
The award nomination is one more thing for us to take pride in this year, after achieving a string of exciting new clients and recruiting some new talent to the team.
