Digital marketing and advertising wizards Big Cat teamed up with PR and social media legends spottydog communications last year. Together, we offer clients a full-service marketing communications solution.

We are on the lookout for a creative detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table. You will be responsible for creating visually appealing and cohesive designs across various platforms, including digital, print and social media.

We are looking for a creative that can:

• Develop and design graphics for websites, social media, marketing materials, and other digital and print media.
• Collaborate with the Leopard team to create compelling visuals that reflects the client’s brand and the brief’s objectives.
• Work effectively and collaboratively to meet deadlines while maintaining quality
• Be a brand guardian for the Leopard Co house of brands and assist with making sure internal marketing is on point.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards.
• Liaise with the studio manager, account managers and account directors
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to keep designs current and innovative.

You should also have:

• In depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)
• Ability to create simple motion graphics using the likes of After Effects
• A keen eye for design and strong attention to detail
• A desire to work in a busy agency office, working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a passion for creative problem solving
• Having photography or videography skills would be an advantage

Our culture

Maintaining our vibrant workplace culture, as well as fostering an environment to support learning and development, means we come together as a team to operate from our Birmingham city centre workspace on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with the option of remote working outside of our core days.

With a pet-friendly office, you’ll need to like dogs or our office dogs (Lily and Lottie) will be upset, as will some of our lovely pet-sector clients!

We’re famous for our quarterly team social events, where we get together to have fun and let our hair down. Previous social events have seen us cruising the Birmingham canals, whipping up creative bakes, trying our hand at darts, and turning our office into our very own wellbeing centre. We also offer a great package, with extras such as 3% match pension, 24 days holiday together with up to five additional days offered for family care. The salary will be equivalent to the level of experience you have and will range from £25,000-£30,000.
